Product Description
CSH02.1B-CC-EC-EC-S4-NN-NN-FW is a CSH02 series control section for Bosch IndraDrive controllers. These controllers with CSH series control sections are optimized for single-axis applications. These are advanced control sections that differ from basic and economy control sections. The differences lie in configurability, available interfaces and cycle times (pulse frequencies). Current control cycle time supported by the CSH02.1B-CC-EC-EC-S4-NN-NN-FW is 62.5 microseconds. Velocity control cycle time supported by the control section is 125 microseconds. Position control cycle time supported by the control section is 250 microseconds. Communication cycle time supported by the control section is 25o microseconds. Two of the slots for optional modules on the CSH02.1B-CC-EC-EC-S4-NN-NN-FW feature multi-encoder modules. The third slot for optional modules is vacant. This slot can be used for a range of modules including encoder emulation, digital/analog I/O extension, and multi-encoder interface. The fourth slots contains a safe motion safety module.
Options for master communication interface include SERCOS III and Multi-Ethernet. Operators can select the required interface at the time of ordering. The CSH02.1B-CC-EC-EC-S4-NN-NN-FW is equipped with SERCOS III master communication. SERCOS III is designed for communication between PCs, motion devices and industrial control equipment. It conforms to the IEEE 802.3 standard for Ethernet communication. The nodes on a SERCOS III network are configured as either a master or slave. The master node initiates transmissions. Topologies supported by SERCOS III include ring and line. Line topology does not provides redundancy, but is a lower cost option. Ring topology provides redundancy, and is a higher cost option as more network cable is required. Compared to Ethernet, SERCOS III is a lower-cost alternative as it does not requires network devices such as switches or hubs. It supports 100 Mbps full-duplex communication and is one of fastest industrial communication technologies.
