Product Description
IndraDrive control units designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth are highly flexible motion control units compatible with converters and inverters in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. These components with two essential parts, the control section and the power section, are used to control electrical motors and monitor their operations.
The CSH02.1B-CC-EC-CN-L3-EM-NN-FW is one of the control sections in the CSH series of Bosch Rexroth’s ADVANCED control section range. It has the extended scope interface equipment and is equipped with sercos III as its master communication interface. Its multi-encoder interface allows encoders that require 5V and 12V supply voltages to be connected to it for motion control. These include the sin-cos encoder (1Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 interface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the encoder systems of the MSK and MSM families of motors. The control section’s safety technology module is Safe Torque Off, preventing the unintended startup of the motor, thereby protecting users from accidents.
There is an encoder emulation interface on the CSH02.1B-CC-EC-CN-L3-EM-NN-FW that evaluates absolute value and incremental encoder signals. These signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit board, and this applies to encoder systems, including incremental encoders, absolute encoders (SSI encoders), and incremental encoders with signal level converters. Additionally, the control section has a CANopen interface and supports the use of firmware. However, this firmware must be ordered separately. Since it is a product of category C3 according to IEC 61800‑3, it should be operated in an industrial area only with the use of suitable line filters to prevent radio interference. It also supports operation at pulse width modulation frequencies of 4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz, and 16kHz.
