The Bosch CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section. It is an advanced control section that is also configurable. The master communication interface on the device is SERCOS III. Only a standard control panel is compatible with the CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW. If used, the control panel has to be connected prior to control section power on, otherwise it will not be recognized. The control section is modular and contains three slots for optional modules and one slot for a safety module. Slot 3 on the device contains a cross-communication drive module. The other slots on the CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW are empty. The optional modules that are compatible with the device include numerous encoder modules and safety modules. The control section mounts vertically and measures 241 x 49.5 x 103 millimeters. The control section is designed for single-axis applications.
The CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW mounts on a power section. The combination of the power section and control section is a IndraDrive drive controller. The mounting/dismounting operation must not be performed more than 20 times. Moreover, the mounting/dismounting operation should only be performed by trained personnel. Electrostatic charges can damage the control section and its constituent components. Any exposed conductive parts that may come into contact with the CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW should be discharged via grounding. Improper use of the CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN- S-NN-FW can lead to personal injury and property damage. Improper use also leads to voiding of the manufacturer warranty. The CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is designed for use only in industrial environments. Bosch does not permit any modification of the device hardware of de-compilation of the device software. A faulty or malfunctioning control section must not be put into operation. The firmware for the CSH01.3C-S3-NNN-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW has to be ordered separately.
