Product Description

CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a high-performance control section. It is a primary component of Bosch motor controllers from the IndraDrive product line. Bosch provides three separate type plates on each controller for identification. Two plates are attached to the control section and one type plate is attached to the power section. These type plates list information such as technical specifications and serial numbers. Operators must check and verify information listed on these type plates at the time of equipment delivery. Any piece of equipment found to be faulty must not be installed or put into operation. Bosch provides a list of approved applications in the product manual. Use of the control section for non-approved applications is considered improper use, which voids the product warranty. Improper use also transfers any obligation for damages or injury caused during equipment use to the operator.

The CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is equipped with an encoder EnDat 2.1 module. This encoder module allows controller use with motor encoders designed for 5 Volt supplies. The CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is also equipped with an encoder emulation module. This module can be used for emulation of absolute value and incremental encoder signals for further evaluation by a control unit. The signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. An external power supply is not required for the emulation module.

The cross communication module corresponds to the IEEE 802.3 standard and features two Ethernet interfaces. Master communication on the CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is MultiEthernet. Operators can configure the unit from a standard control panel. This control panel must be connected to the unit when it is switched off. If the control panel is connected to the control section when it is powered on, the control panel will not be recognized.
