Product Description

CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-MA1-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is a CSH series control section. It is designed by Bosch. Typical applications for controllers based on CSH control sections include handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, and printing and machines. The control section has a modular architecture that allows installation of various plug in modules. It comes with several factory installed modules including an encoder EnDat 2.1 module, an analog I/O extension module, a cross communication module, a MultiEthernet module and a safety module with safe motion support.

The CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-MA1-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is compatible only with a standard control panel. The unit mounts onto a power section that provides DC power. If supplied separately, only trained personnel should perform mounting and dismounting of the control section. Bosch supplies a detailed user manual with each unit. This manual contains relevant safety precaution that operators must follow safe and reliable operation.

Bosch has designed the control section for vertical installation. The CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-MA1-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is a device that cools via convection cooling. Convection cooling is a heat transfer mechanism that occurs when heat gets transferred from a hot object to the surrounding fluid, which can be either air or liquid. The fluid surrounding the object absorbs the heat and rises, creating a flow of fluid that carries the heat away from the object. This flow of fluid is driven by the difference in density between the hot and cold fluids, which creates a natural convection current. Convection cooling is a passive cooling method that does not require any forced cooling with fans or other mechanical device. Operators can use cooling fans to improve heat dissipation during operation. Operators can also use air conditioning if required.
