CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-EN2-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a digital control unit for Bosch IndraDrive controllers. The manufacturer supplies control units as part of fully assembled controllers. When supplied separately, trained professional must assemble the controller from its constituent parts. The control unit plugs into a power section.
Two type plates are attached to each control unit: one of these is the control unit type plate and the second one is the firmware type plate. The control unit type plate lists information relevant to the control unit, such as specifications and serial number. Operators can use information listed on the control unit type plate to verify its specifications. The firmware type plate lists information relevant to the installed firmware. Operators can use information listed on the firmware type plate to verify the version of the installed firmware. A separate power section type plate is attached to the power section.
The CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-EN2-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW has a modular design. Several slots are available on the unit and allow installation of optional modules. The CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-EN2-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW comes with two encoder modules and one cross communication module. The control unit slot dedicated for a safety module is vacant. The encoder modules feature EnDat 2.1 interfaces. EnDat 2.1 is a communication standard that allows high-speed data transmission between the encoder and the control system. EnDat 2.1 is an improved version of the earlier EnDat 2.0 protocol, which introduced bidirectional communication and diagnostic capabilities. EnDat 2.1 further enhances the performance and reliability of the interface by increasing the data transmission rate and providing additional features such as improved error detection and correction. EnDat 2.1 uses a serial interface with differential signals to transmit data, which allows for noise-resistant communication and reduces the risk of data corruption. It also supports encryption to ensure the security of the transmitted data.
