Product Description

CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-EN2-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW is a digital control section. It is developed by Bosch for industrial applications. The control section, along with a power section, forms a complete IndraDrive motor controller. The control section mounts onto the power section. The function of the power section is to supply DC power for the control section electronics. The power section also supplies DC power for the optional plug in modules installed on the control section.

The CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-EN2-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW is a control section with several factory installed plug in modules. The safety module installed on the unit supports safe torque off (STO), a safety feature used in industrial machines and equipment to ensure that the torque or rotational force of the machinery is safely removed when the machine is turned off. It is designed to prevent unexpected start-up of the machine during maintenance or repair, which could potentially cause harm to operators or damage to the equipment.

When the STO function is activated, it cuts off the power to the motor control circuit, which in turn stops the motor from rotating. This is achieved by using a safety relay or a programmable safety controller to monitor the feedback signals from the motor and shut off the power supply to the motor control circuit when necessary. In addition, the CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-EN2-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW controls section features two encoder modules with EnDat 2.1 interface. The unit also features a cross communication module. Operators can use a standard control panel to monitor and configure the unit. Master communication on the CSH01.3C-ET-EN2-EN2-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW is MultiEthernet. The recommended cable for the module is Cat-5e. The maximum Ethernet segment length is 100 meters. Bosch has designed the unit for convection cooling and vertical mounting.
