Product Description
CSH01.2C-SE-ENS-EN2-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a digital control section. It supports SERCOS master communication. SERCOS is a digital communication protocol used in automation technology. It offers fast and efficient communication between devices, with data transfer rates of up to 16 Mbps. This enables real-time control and synchronization of motion and other processes, which is essential in many industrial applications. SERCOS is a deterministic protocol, which means that data transmission is predictable and consistent. This is important in industrial applications where precise timing is critical, such as in robotics, machine tools, and other motion control applications. SERCOS is highly configurable, which makes it adaptable to a wide range of applications and devices. It can be easily integrated into existing systems and can support a large number of devices on a single network. This makes it a flexible and scalable solution for industrial automation.
In addition to SERCOS, the CSH01.2C-SE-ENS-EN2-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is equipped with two encoder modules. The encoder EnDat 2.1 module works with motor encoders designed for 5 Volt supply voltage. It comes with a 15-pin D-sub female connector. Bosch recommends stranded wire with 0.25 to 1 mm2 cross section. The encoder HSF / RSF module is designed for encoder systems with 8 Volts DC or 18.2 Volts AC peak to peak supply voltage. The cross-communication module complies with the IEEE 802.3 standard and features two RJ-45 physical interfaces. Operators can use long cables (100 meters at maximum) to connect the drive system to the higher-level control unit. Operators can also use short cables to connect devices arranged side by side in the same control cabinet. The unit works with a standard control panel. Its firmware must be ordered separately.
