Bosch Rexroth’s CSH control sections are compact components of the drive controllers in the IndraDrive system. They are designed to meet the highest demands in performance and dynamics. In addition, they support a wide and diverse range of control communication and encoder interfaces. Their applications include machine tools and food processing machines.

The CSH01.2C-PL-ENS-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is one of the configurable Design-2 control sections designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a single-axis type compatible with encoders with a supply voltage of 12V. They include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the Hiperface interface, the MSK motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. These encoders are connected via the standard encoder evaluation interface on the control section. Its connection points are equipped with spring terminals and screw terminal blocks to provide secure and vibration-proof connections. It also allows the use of firmware, but this must be ordered separately.

Many interfaces are present in the CSH01.2C-PL-ENS-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW to enhance its flexibility. They include a cross communication module and parallel interface for interacting with other parts of the system. The parallel interface supplies 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs galvanically isolated from the control section. They are arranged in groups with 4 inputs and 4 outputs each. Another interface in the control section is the protective Safety Technology I/O module, allowing different application-related safety functions. These include safety-related standstill, safety-related drive interlock, safety-related reduced speed, and safety-related direction of motion.
