Product Description
Precise and reliable motion control is expected with Bosch Rexroth’s range of automation products. Its Rexroth IndraDrive system consists of drive controllers, servo motors, gearboxes, etc. The drive controllers have two essential parts: the power section and the control section.
The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable single-axis CSH control section with a maximum inrush current of 4A. It is compatible with a wide range of encoders owing to its standard encoder evaluation interface. These encoders include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the MSK motor encoder, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1. They have a supply voltage rating of 12V. Communication between this CSH model and other units is via its sercos module. It uses fiber optic cables for these connections, but these must be ordered separately. This provides faster information transfer and reduces the cost of installation by the use of minimal wiring.
Galvanically isolated absolute value and incremental encoder signals can be emulated by the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW thanks to its encoder emulation interface. It also has a Digital I/O Extension option providing 12 digital 24V inputs and eight digital 24V outputs. Its standard control panel provides operators with access to its control and monitoring functions. They can perform various options using this control panel. Examples include accessing the error memory, setting the transmission power and field bus transmission rate of the sercos module, setting the drive address, and starting the basic load defaults procedure. High-frequency interference may occur if this control section is used in residential areas as it is a product of category C3, according to IEC 61800‑3.
