The Bosch CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a modular control section. It is a component of IndraDrive controllers that are deployed for motor control applications. Some applications of IndraDrive controllers are machine tools, paper processing machines, food machines and mounting systems. The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section that is especially designed for single axis applications.  It has one slot for a master communication module, one slot for a safety module and three slots for functional modules. The master communication module installed on the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is SERCOS, which allows high-speed serial communication. Other options are also available for master communication. Fiber optic cable connection are available as accessories to connect the SERCOS interface to fiber optic cables. The control section is not equipped with a safety module. However operators can select from one of five types of safety modules that include the following: starting lockout, safe torque of, without safety technology, safety technology I/O and safe motion.

The encoder emulation module installed on the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW allows emulation of incremental and absolute value encoder signals. It does not require a separate power supply. The encoder IndraDyn/Hiperface module is designed for encoders that have 12 Volt supply voltage. The encoder HSF/RSF module is designed for encoders with the following supply voltages: 18.2 Volts AC or 8 Volts DC. The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is compatible with a standard control panel that features a single-line display and does not support hot plug. Therefore, operators must not connect or disconnect the control panel when the control section is powered on. Multiple type plates are attached to the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW for identification. Operators must verify information listed on the type plates at the time of equipment delivery.
