Product Description

Control sections like the CSH series are components of the IndraDrive drive controllers by Bosch Rexroth. They are ADVANCED units plugged into the power sections of these drive controllers. Their applications include machine tools, handling and mounting equipment, and paper processing and printing machines.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is a single-axis CSH control section in the ADVANCED range by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable model whose communication with more sophisticated control units is via a SERCOS module. Fiber optics cables are used for such connections, ensuring that signals are transferred securely and that electromagnetic interference is avoided. The transmission power and field bus transmission rate of this SERCOS module can be manipulated using the standard panel on the CSH control section. This operator panel has a single-line display where users can view the machine’s operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. With its four operating keys, users can also set the analog outputs, start the basic load defaults procedure, and look through the error memory.

Firmware use is permitted with the CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW, but it must be ordered separately. The control section’s encoder evaluation interface supports standard encoders with a supply voltage of 5V. These include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and sense line. Its safety technology module is the cost-effective Safe Torque Off (STO) for preventing the drive from restarting unintentionally. This CSH model can be operated at switching frequencies of 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. It should also be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above mean sea level.
