The housing of this control device provides it with protection according to the IP20 protection class; this housing is also specially structured to allow for direct integration of the control device into the industrial control cabinet.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MEM-S1-S-NN-FW is not supplied with a firmware module; however, this can be separately ordered by the industrial operator according to the industrial requirements of the control device. This control device is compatible with the HSF and RSF encoder designs and features an encoder emulator. The configuration, installation and general operation of this industrial control device are designed to be safe and straightforward; however, to guarantee this operational safety, these operations should be carried out by industrial professionals who are familiar with Rexroth Indramat devices and have gone through the documentation supplied with the converter.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MEM-S1-S-NN-FW industrial converter consumes about 7.5 watts of electrical energy during operation; it also operates with a typical inrush current of 4 amperes and maintains a maximum pulse width of 100 milliseconds.
