Drive controllers in Bosch Rexroth’s efficient IndraDrive drive system are composed of two essential components, one of which is the control section. The CSH control sections are single-axis devices used in handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and food packaging machines.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN2-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is a model of the configurable single-axis control sections in Bosch Rexroth’s CSH series. It is fitted with a standard control panel, whose four keys are used to explore its multiple functions as seen on its single-line display. Some of these functions include starting the basic load defaults procedure, setting the analog outputs, establishing the position data reference, and setting the drive address. The control section uses SERCOS as its master communication module, permitting its interaction with higher-level control units via a fiber optic cable. Adjusting the data rate and transmission power of the bus system can be done using its standard control panel or the serial interface X2.

Encoders with supply voltages of DC 8V or AC 18.2V peak-peak and those with a supply voltage of 5V can be connected to the CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN2-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW. This is done via its interface for Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation and two encoder evaluation interfaces respectively. Examples of such encoders are the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the encoders for MHD and MKD motors, and the resolvers without data memory. The CSH model is equipped with Safety Technology I/O for application-related safety functions, including safety-related standstill, reduced speed, direction of motion, etc. Its allowed switching frequencies for operation are 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. It also has a typical inrush current of 4A and a maximum pulse width of 100ms.
