The Bosch CSH01.1C-S3-EN2-NNN-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW is a control unit for IndraDrive controllers. Typical applications for these controllers include machine tools, handling and mounting systems, packaging machines and paper processing machines. The working temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and the elevation range is 0 to 1000 meters. Operation of the controllers outside these specifications leads to derated controller performance. Bosch supplies fully configured controllers. Each controller has four components that include a control unit, a power section, a control panel and control unit firmware. The CSH01.1C-S3-EN2-NNN-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW is an advanced and configurable control unit. It mounts onto the power section. The controller components can also be supplied separately. Trained professionals must assemble separate controller components. To prevent hardware damage, the number of times a control unit and power section are assembled or disassembled is limited to 20.
The CSH01.1C-S3-EN2-NNN-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW is modular device with four slots for optional hardware module. One slot on the control unit is vacant. The remaining three slots feature an encoder EnDat 2.1 module, an analog I/O extension module and a safe motion safety module. The CSH01.1C-S3-EN2-NNN-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW also supports SERCOS III master communication. This communication interface is compatible with Ethernet and supports 100 Mbps full-duplex communication. Standard Ethernet cable with maximum 100 meters length is supported, provided the minimum bend radius is not exceeded. The CSH01.1C-S3-EN2-NNN-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW runs on 24 Volts DC provided by the power section. The power consumption of the control unit is 7.5 Watts. The typical inrush current value is 4 Amps. Each plug in module on the control unit draws additional power from the power section.
