Solving automation challenges requires highly functional units like those in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. The drive controllers in this system have two essential components: the control section and the power section. With their compact sizes, the control sections can easily be plugged into the power section. Their applications include handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and packaging machines.

The CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a model of the control sections in the CSH series by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable type in the ADVANCED control section range with a parallel interface as its communication module. This module contains 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs grouped into 4 inputs and 4 outputs each. Its connection point is the D-Sub type with 37 poles, while its inputs/outputs are galvanically isolated from the control section. There is also a standard encoder evaluation interface on this CSH model for connecting encoders with a 12V supply voltage. Its resolver and HSF encoder evaluation interface supports encoder systems with a supply voltage of DC 8 V or AC 18.2 V peak-peak.

Absolute value and incremental encoder signals can be emulated with the encoder emulation interface of the CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW. This process does not require an external power supply. With the standard user panel on the device, users can commission it and perform several functions. These include setting the drive address, initiating the basic load defaults procedure, navigating the error memory, and establishing the position data reference. Like other CSH models, the typical inrush current of this device is 4A, and its maximum pulse width is 100ms. Its connection points are equipped with spring terminals and screw terminal blocks.
