Product Description
A power section and a control section are the essential components of the intelligent drive controllers in Bosch Rexroth’s state-of-the-art Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. The control section has a compact design and is plugged into the power section. One of the control section series in this family is the CSH series. This group of devices is typically used in handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, and machine tools.
The CSH01.1C-PL-EN2-EN2-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a CSH control section model in the ADVANCED range by Bosch Rexroth. It has two encoder evaluation interfaces for encoders with a 5V supply voltage. These encoders include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and sense lines, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. With its Parallel Interface module, it interacts with other components of the drive system. This module has 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs galvanically isolated from the control section and combined in groups of four inputs and four outputs. There is also an encoder emulation interface in this CSH model for emulating absolute value and incremental encoder signals.
A standard plug-in user panel on the CSH01.1C-PL-EN2-EN2-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is used to commission it and navigate its error memory. Other functions of this user panel include setting the drive address, starting the basic load defaults procedure, and establishing the position data reference. Alternatively, the Rexroth IndraWorks software for PC can be used to commission the control section. The use of firmware is allowed with this configurable control section, but it must be ordered separately. Its typical inrush current is 4A, while its maximum pulse width is 100ms.
