Control sections in the ADVANCED control section range by Bosch Rexroth are designed for operations with high performance demands. They are components of the drive controller in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. These drive controllers are composed of power sections and control sections such as those in the CSH series. They are ideal for a wide range of applications, including handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, printing and paper processing machines, and machine tools.

The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is a control section model in the Bosch Rexroth CSH series. It is a configurable type in the ADVANCED control section range. Using PROFIBUS, it communicates effortlessly with other control units and facilitates the cyclical exchange of all specified and actual values, including status signals and diagnostic messages. The standard encoder evaluation interface of this CSH model supports encoders with a 12V supply voltage. These encoders are the sin-cos encoder(1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the encoder system of the IndraDyn S MSK motors, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 interface. It can also be operated with firmware, and this should be purchased as a separate sub-item.

Functions like setting the drive address, navigating the error memory, and establishing the position data reference can be done on the standard control panel of the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW. The control panel has a single-line display on which operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings can be viewed. Thanks to the Safe Torque Off technology of the control section, the unplanned restarting of the drive is prevented. It has a category 3 PL e/SIL 3 rating and is activated via two redundant 24 V signals.
