The Bosch CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW is an advanced and configurable control section. It is one of the two essential components that make up an IndraDrive controller. The other essential component is the power section.  The control section mounts on the power section. It is usually supplied as part of a complete drive controller. In certain circumstances it can be ordered as a separate unit. In these circumstances, a trained professional has to manually mount the unit on the power section. Excessive mounting and dismounting can cause equipment damage. For this reason, Bosch has set a limit for the number of times the mounting or dismounting can be performed: this limit is set to twenty. The power consumption of the control section basic unit is 7.5 Watts. and the supply voltage rating is 24 Volts DC.

The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW comes with Profibus master communication. Out of the four slots on the basic unit, three are occupied by modules that are pre-installed at the factory. Two of the modules are IndraDyn encoder modules and the third one is a safety module that enables safe motion. This module enables multiple safety functions including safe stop 1, safe stop 2, safe maximum speed, safe direction, safe door locking, safe parking axis and safe homing procedure. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW works with only a standard control panel. The ambient conditions for transport include -20 to 70 degrees Celsius temperature, and 5 to 95% relative humidity. The ambient conditions for storage include -20 to 55 degrees Celsius temperature, and 5 to 95% relative humidity. The ambient conditions for operation include 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature, and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. Only trained personnel should install and commission the device.
