The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW is a control section. It is designed for Bosch IndraDrive drive controllers. A complete drive controller has two essential components: power section and control section. Two other components are a control panel and firmware. The firmware is ordered separately from the hardware. The installed firmware can be identified by the firmware type plate on the unit. A separate type plate indicates the hardware type code and provides details of the modules installed on the unit. According to the type code, the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW is a CSH series device with four hardware modules. These modules include a safety module with safe motion support, two IndraDyn encoder modules and an encoder emulation module. These modules are installed on the slots provided on basic unit of the control section. Other types of safety and plug in modules are also available and can be specified at the time of equipment ordering.
The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW is a configurable unit that works with only a standard control panel. It features a Profibus master communication interface. Other types of master communication interfaces are also available for CSH series devices. The Profibus physical interface is a 9-pin female connector that can be used with 0.08 to 0.5 mm2 stranded copper wire. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW also includes a slot for a removable memory card. This card can be used to read and store data including firmware, drive parameters and operating data. Two variants of the memory card are available: a card with loaded firmware and a card that is preformatted for parameter transmission. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW operates optimally at 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. The device must be installed by qualified and trained personnel.
