The Bosch CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section. The IndraDrive product line also includes other types of control sections for drive controllers including basic and basic universal. These different types differ in the following: configurability, slots for hardware modules and supported features. Each advanced category control section has four slots for hardware modules. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW features three hardware modules: two encoder IndraDyn modules and one encoder emulation module. The slot for safety modules on the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is vacant. The control panel that is compatible with the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a standard control panel. This device allows monitoring and configuration and can be used during commissioning. Different versions of control section firmware are available from Bosch and are ordered separately from the hardware. The master communication interface is Profibus.
Each control section is a component of an IndraDrive drive controller. Other components include a power section, control panel and firmware. The control section and installed firmware are identified by separate rating plates attached to the hardware. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW operated on 24 volts DC supplied by the power section. The hardware modules also draw power from the power section. The power draw of the basic unit is 7.5 Watts. The typical inrush current value is 4 Amps. The power draw for the hardware modules is separate from and in addition to the basic unit power consumption. Approved accessories for the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN- FW include fiber optic cable connections, signal level converters for encoder emulation, signal level converter for serial interfaces and adapter for D-Sub to terminal connector. Improper installation can lead to performance issues and malfunction. Therefore all handling and installation of the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW and associated equipment must be performed by trained personnel.
