With its numerous application advantages, the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system stands as one of Bosch Rexroth’s most innovative factory automation products. The drive controllers in this system have two essential parts - the power section and the control section. The CSH01 series is a family of single-axis control sections in the ADVANCED control section range, designed for the operation of machine tools, food processing and packaging machines, printing and paper processing machines, and handling and mounting systems.

The CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a CSH01 control section designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a high-performance device, and it supports the connection of encoders with a supply voltage of 5V with its encoder evaluation interface. The supported encoders are the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface and Sense lines, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. Its encoder emulation interface also allows absolute value and incremental encoder signals to be emulated for further processing by a control unit. It does not require an external power supply to isolate these signals.

With the PROFIBUS master communication module of the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW, control systems of a higher level can communicate with the drive controller. The fieldbus interface supports the cyclical exchange of specified and actual values like the status signals and diagnostic messages between the control system and the user. There is no safety technology option in the control section, but it supports firmware use. This firmware can be ordered as a separate item from Bosch Rexroth. The control section can be operated using its standard control panel with a single-line display and remotely with the IndraWorks software package for PC.
