The Bosch Rexroth CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-MEM-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a digital control section. It mounts on a power section. The power section provides 24 Volts DC power to the control section. The power consumption of the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-MEM-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is approximately 7.5 Watts. As a standard practice the control section is shipped as part of a complete IndraDrive drive controller. Under special circumstances the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-MEM-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW can be shipped as a separate device. In such circumstances the control section is manually mounted on the power section. Only trained technical personnel should be permitted to carry out the mounting activity. To minimize risk of equipment damage, Bosch recommends limiting to twenty the number of times a control section is mounted or dismounted from a power section. The analog I/O extension module on the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-MEM-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW adds four analog channels. These channels operate at ±10V DC.

The encoder emulation module on the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-MEM-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW enables emulation of incremental and absolute value signals for evaluation by a control unit. The signals are galvanically isolated from the module circuit board. An external power supply is not required with this module. An encoder EnDat 2.1 module is also installed on the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-MEM-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW. The control section is without a safety module. Four different safety modules are supported by CSH series devices and can be installed as per application requirements. The CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-MEM-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW works with only one type of control panel which is a standard control panel. The master communication interface provided on the unit is Profibus that has a 9-pin D-sub female interface. The recommended connection cable is stranded copper wire with 0.08 to 0.5 mm² cross-sectional area. Only qualified personnel should handle and installe the control section and related equipment.
