The Bosch CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is a digital control section. It is one of the four components that make up an IndraDrive controller. The other three components are a power section, firmware and a control panel. When supplied as an individual component, the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW has to be plugged into a power section. This activity must be carried out by trained and qualified personnel. Excessive plugging and unplugging of the control section can damage both the control section and the power section. Therefore Bosch has limited to 20 the number of times that any control section is permitted to be plugged into a power section. The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW includes three pre-installed modules. These include two encoder HSF / RSF modules and a safety module that supports safety technology I/O. Slot 3 on the unit is available and can be used to install another optional module.
Control sections can be ordered with a range of master communication interfaces. The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW supports Profibus communication. The unit is configurable and belongs to the category of advanced control sections. It can be commissioned from a standard control panel. This type of control panel is not suited for hot plug and should not be connected or disconnected when the control section is switched on. The standard control panel has a single-line display that shows command diagnoses, pending warnings and operating states. The four-button keypad on the control panel can be used for display of extended diagnosis on the drive controller. The keypad can also be used for triggering simple commands. One RS-232 serial communication interface is also available on the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW. This interface can be used to communicate with other devices that support serial communication.
