The Bosch CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-NNN-MD2-S2-S-NN-FW is a modular control section. It forms a drive controller in combination with a power section. The modular structure allows multiple plug-in modules and safety modules to be installed on the unit. Slot 3 on the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-NNN-MD2-S2-S-NN-FW contains a digital I/O extension module with SSI encoder. This option is a combined extension of two functions: digital I/O extension and SSI encoder evaluation The digital I/O function supports 16 inputs and 16 outputs. The inputs are divided into two input groups with a separate supply voltage for each group. The outputs are divided into four output groups with a separate supply voltage for each group. The SSI encoder allows absolute position detection for different encoders with SSI interfaces. The other plug-in module that is installed on the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-NNN-MD2-S2-S-NN-FW is an IndraDyn encoder module that supports Hiperface.
