The Bosch Rexroth CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section. It is one of the two main components that make up a IndraDrive drive controller. The other component of the drive controllers is a power section. The control section plugs-into the power section: Bosch has limited the number of plug-in actions to 20. The control section has a modular architecture and allows installation of up to three optional modules and one safety module. The safety module installed on the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW is safe motion. This module allows different safety functions such as safe stop, safe maximum speed, safely-limited speed, safe direction, safely-limited position, safe homing procedure, safe door locking, safe parking axis, safe stop, and many others. Slot 3 for optional modules contains a digital I/O extension module that enables 12 digital 24 Volts inputs and 8 digital 24 Volts outputs.

The power consumption of this module is 1 Watt. Slot 1 for optional modules on the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW contains a IndraDyn encoder module with Hiperface support.  The power consumption of this module is 6 Watts. Slot 2 for optional modules on the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW contains an encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface. The power consumption of this encoder module is 6 Watts. The CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW can be configured through a standard control panel. It cannot be used with a comfort control panel. Master communication interface on the unit is MultiEthernet. Components and parts of the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW can get damaged by electrostatic discharges. Therefore conductive parts that may come into contact with the unit should be discharged through grounding. The control section may only be stored and transported in conductive packaging. All activities related to handling and installation of the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW should be performed by trained personnel.
