It is one of the models in the CSB02 series, a family of single-axis control sections in the BASIC control section range. This model has an extended scope interface equipment and a Multi-Ethernet control communication module. The Multi-Ethernet makes the drive controller compatible with other Ethernet field bus systems, including sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET IO. The control section’s motor encoder interface supports encoders with supply voltages of 5V and 12V. Some of these encoders are the MSK and MSM motor encoders, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 interface.

The operation of the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-S4-NN-NN-AW at varying switching frequencies is possible for different output levels. It is equipped with a Safe Motion safety module and supports the use of firmware which can be ordered separately. The use of this control section in public low-voltage mains for residential areas is not recommended as it can lead to the generation of high-frequency radio interference.
