The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is a state-of-the-art mechanization system suited for various applications. It consists of some of the world's most advanced drive controllers. A control section is an integral component of any drive control system. It enables the drive controller to be configured to execute certain functions in a machine. Also, drive controllers are employed to monitor and regulate the functioning of electric motors. Their applications are present in machine tools, handling and mounting systems, printing and paper processing machines, food processing, and packaging machines.
The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable, double-axis control section in the BASIC UNIVERSAL range. As common to other control units in the CSB01 series, it has 3 integrated I/Os, which can be configured as either a digital input or digital output. Its communication module has a Parallel Interface, which has Pins on design and presents 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. Its standard encoder interface enables the evaluation of a variety of encoder systems. Also, it has an encoder emulation interface that permits the emulation of an incremental encoder and absolute value signals for further evaluation. The operation of this module does not require an external power supply.
The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is operated using a standard control panel and has no available safety product. However, it is compatible with the use of firmware. In addition, with the inclusion of the Protective Extra Low Voltage (PELV) systems, this control unit can be connected to devices with basic insulations. Also, it is categorized as a product of category C3, per IEC 61800-3, and cannot be used on a public low voltage grid network supplying residential neighborhoods.
