The Bosch Rexroth CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MEM-L1-S-NN-FW is a CSB series digital control section. An IndraDrive controller has two essential parts that are a control section and a power section. The control section is a separate component that is plugged into the power section. As standard practice, the drive controller is supplied complete with the control section. In exceptional cases, control sections can be delivered separately. In case the control section is delivered separately, then only personnel trained by Bosch for mounting and dismounting the control sections should mount and dismount the control section. For a drive controller, the control section should not be mounted and dismounted more than a maximum of 20 times.  Exposed conductive parts coming into contact with the control section must be previously discharged by means of grounding.

The power section provides 24 Volts DC supply to the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MEM-L1-S-NN-FW. The power consumption of the basic unit of the control section is 8 Watts and the inrush current is 4.5 Amps. The encoder emulation module installed on the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MEM-L1-S-NN-FW draws 2 Wats of power. The encoder IndraDyn module installed on the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MEM-L1-S-NN-FW draws 6 Watts of power. The safety module that supports starting lockout draws 2 Watts of power. The master communication interface, which is a parallel interface, draws 1 Watts of power.
