The Bosch CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section. It can be configured from a standard control panel but not from a comfort control panel. As a component of IndraDrive controllers, it is usually supplied as part of a completely configured controller. In certain circumstances it can also be supplied as a separate unit. In such cases the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is plugged into a power section. The power section provides 24 Volts DC power for the control section and the modules that are installed on it. Each basic universal CSB series control section such as the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW has three slots for optional modules. The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW comes with three-preinstalled modules. These modules are encoder IndraDyn with Hiperface support, analog I/O extension and a safety module that supports safe torque off (STO). This safety feature turns off the drive power output to prevent motor shaft rotation.
Safe torque off is used as an emergency stop method and can be used to stop the motor that is connected to the drive controller. The master communication interface on the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is a parallel interface. The control section can be identified by a type plate that is attached to the device. The type plate lists the hardware type code and other information such as the serial number. A type plate for the installed firmware is also attached to the unit. The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW supports an integrated RS-232 interface that can be used to communicate with other devices with serial communication interfaces. This serial interface, the slots for the optional modules and integrated I/Os are all available on the front panel of the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW. The control section should be handled and installed only by qualified personnel. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
