The Bosch CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW is control section. It is one of the main components of drive controllers that belong to the IndraDrive product line. The other components of the drive controllers include a power section, firmware for the control section and a control panel. The power section provides 24 Volts DC power to the CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW. The power consumption of the only the control section is 8 Watts. The optional and safety module on the unit draw additional power from the power section. The safety module installed on the CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW supports starting lockout. One optional module is also installed which is the encoder IndraDyn module. Slot 2 on the CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW is vacant and can be used for another optional module. A configured IndraDrive controller consists of a control section with firmware that is plugged into the power section.
When supplied as a separate unit, the CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW has to be plugged into the power section by a trained professional. The number of times that a control section and a power section can be assembled or disassembled is limited to 20. This is necessary for preventing hardware damage. The firmware for the CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW has to be ordered separately. Master communication interface on the unit supports CANopen / DeviceNet. The control section only works with a standard control panel. The control panel must be connected before the control section is powered on, otherwise it will not be recognized. The control panel must also be disconnected, if required, when the control section is powered off.
