Designed to support three operating modes and process custom programs, the CLM01.4-LAP-04VRS-MS is a CNS type position controller from Rexroth Indramat. You can operate this model in manual, automatic, and parameter mode. In manual mode, the user is allowed to move the axis using forward (Jog+) and backward (Jog-) functions provided that there is no error persisting, and the drive is ready to operate. In automatic mode, the functions of the controller are activated through start command, and the unit follows the commands mentioned in the selected software program. In parameter mode, the unit allows you to make alterations in the parameters or to program. In this mode, no power is fed to the unit and all of its tasks remain halted until the selection of either automatic or manual mode.

The control system of the CLM01.4-LAP-04VRS-MS is designed for extensive multitasking as it can simultaneously control 5 cycles. The keypad incorporated in this device has 20 pressure-sensitive keys including an F1 KEY and a set of arrow keys. You can use these keys to scroll through the menu, for manipulation of display functions and data entry also.

This position controller comes with a basic or default program that cannot be modified by the user. A programming code used for the development of user-defined programs is similar to the BASIC language. You can create an unlimited number of programs, and any program can be loaded into system RAM regardless of the operating mode. The CLM01.4-LAP-04VRS-MS comes with a powerful processor and it can process each instruction within 2 to 4 milliseconds. This position controller can also be connected to an already existing Fieldbus system.
