Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for Indramat machines, the CLM01.3-X-E-4-0-FW is an axis positioning control module in the CLM series. It is a four-axis system that can only be operated with software type ‘A’. It also belongs to line 1, design 3 and display design B. It can only operate with a factory assigned firmware. The CLM01.3-X-E-4-0-FW is a microprocessor-based and modular positioning control used for the precise motion control of four axes. It is applied to positioning devices like the ball screw in the Indramat maintenance-free servo AC system. The positioning applications it can be used for include roll feeds, linear gantry robots, handling equipment, woodworking machines, etc.
For the CLM01.3-X-E-4-0-FW to carry out the operation of motion control, the user or operator of the module system must enter different parameters. By entering the values for different parameters, one can adapt the CLM01.3-X-E-4-0-FW to the machine and its application’s mechanical characteristics. It also allows a standard control system to be applied to similar but different applications and ensures the programs are written with a uniform data format. Before operating and programming the CLM01.3-X-E-4-0-FW, the needed parameters must be inputted. There are two sets of parameters allowed by this four-axis positioning control module, which includes parameter A and B.
