The CLM01.3-A-0-4-B is a four-axis microprocessor-based positioning control with a Motorola 68000 microprocessor, 256K EPROM and 128K RAM. The Bosch Rexroth positioning control, the servomotor and the servo amplifier feature quick-connect cabling. The operation of the motor and amplifier are optimized through a plug-in personality module. 24 inputs and 19 outputs among the existing inputs and outputs can be defined and programmed by the user. The device offers the assurance of operating safety and integrity through several outputs and inputs for handshaking. It features a protection rating of IP 10. The control has a height of 15.35 inches, depth of 12.80 inches and width of 4.13 inches.

The positioning control must be installed within an altitude of 1,000m above sea level. The product may be installed at a higher altitude with proper cooling. It has a feed length resolution of 0.001 inches. The unit features a four-line LCD that can display alphanumeric characters with 16 characters in each line. This device also encompasses a keypad with 20 membrane switch keys. The pre-defined inputs have a voltage rating of 24VDC at 10mA while the pre-defined outputs feature a voltage rating of 24VDC at up to 50mA.

The keys in the keypad are used for cursor movement, data entry, entering parameter and program data as well as clearing error/fault messages. The data for each parameter can be entered, viewed or edited when the unit is functioning in Parameter Mode. The device operates in an ambient temperature range of 5°C and 45°C. It can be stored at a temperature between -30°C and +85°C.  The Manual Mode and Automatic mode are represented by the letters M and A respectively along with the program status.
