Product Description
Rexroth Indramat provides co-ordinated Motion Control solutions by creating specific CLC cards with finely programmed variations that are essential for Multi-Axis Motion. These SERCOS fiber-optic link mode CLC cards are suitable to various sorts of firmware and the users have the option of selecting the one they want based upon the compatibility of the motion drives. Various systems can be integrated using these cards for mixed multitasking settings utilizing a graphical user interface, such as a PC with Windows environment. The management of these control parameters using simplified algorithms provides complete flexibility and the ease of handling.
The CLC-P02.2B-FW is one such CLC-P Series Motion Controller created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use in the VME bus architecture and considering the type of usage, are designed in such a way that they mesh up well with the IBM PC-AT bus-based architecture. This gives an easy interface to the system controller.
The CLC-P02.2B-FW can handle the motion controllers by connecting via the external ports as per the information is given on the label on the external frame. It has an on-board battery which maintains the database even when the system is switched off and hence it is important to ensure that its charge remains above 10% level. The CLC is programmed to give three kinds of diagnostic information which are - Shutdowns, Status Messages, and Warnings. These messages are in the form of a pre-fixed alphanumeric code, i.e. a three digit number followed by an alphabet. For e.g. "X" symbolizes a hexadecimal fault and "D" means a decimal error. Based on the information the host can inquire regarding the active indicative message concerning the CLC system about each user task.
