The CLC servo drive motion control system uses many types of communication card for controlling the entire motion solution or industrial process automation. The CLC-D02.3M-FW is one of the most popular CLC multi-axis coordinated and non-coordinated motion control communication card. This multi dimensional motion control card is module in features and can be connected with 3 other similar kinds of cards for making a larger motion control system.

The CLC-D02.3M-FW is also referred to as CLC category and D 02 series multi-axis coordinated motion control card. The ‘.3’ in the commercial name indicates the model or configuration of this card. The M indicates the modular versions capabilities. The FW in the product code refers to the firmware, which is factory assigned firmware in the case of CLC-D02.3M-FW communication card.

This advanced version of D series card has two serial ports X28 and X27 and two SERCOS fiber ports. The communication ports can be configured in multiple modes with different baud rates. The serial communication ports can be used in RS232, RS485, and RS422 modes. The supported baud rates for those communication ports include 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, and 9600. The fiber SERCOS ports can be connected to multiple cards for expanding the capacity of CLC motion control system.
