Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is a clever combination of highly functional drive and motion control units. To meet the numerous factory automation needs for which it is designed, the units in the system display innovative features such as high performance and scalability. They also communicate efficiently with one another and form a compact unit that allows simple installation and space optimization. One of the control section series that are suited for the Rexroth IndraDrive system is the CDB02.1 control section. They are specifically designed for the HMD01 class drive inverters, which are also part of the IndraDrive drive system. The CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-PB-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW is a control section type in this series.
Multi-Ethernet is the default communication module of the CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-PB-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW, and this allows its drive controller to be integrated in various Ethernet-based bus systems. These include sercos III, EtherCAT, PROFINET IO, and EtherNet/IP. It is also equipped with an interface for PROFIBUS and LEDs that display the connection status of the device. On two axes, it features two multi-encoder interfaces for the connection of various encoder systems, including the sin-cos encoder 1Vpp with EnDat 2.1 interface and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with a reference track.
The CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-PB-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW is usually delivered plugged into the power section of its drive controller, but it can be ordered as a separate component. It also supports the use of firmware, but the package has to be ordered separately. According to IEC 61800-3, the control section belongs to category C3, along with other components of the Rexroth IndraDrive system. Hence, it is not suitable for use in public voltage networks. It is also not ideal for operation underwater. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
