The CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-EC-S5-S5-NN-NN-AW drive controller is a highly sophisticated industrial drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the speed acceleration and general operation of electrical motors used in industrial production systems. This controller is very flexible in its application, as it can be used to carry out both single and multi-phase control in the industrial servo system; thus, it is perfectly suited for operation with highly sophisticated industrial machines. The housing of this device is manufactured to provide the controller with protection that meets the IP20 protection class; it is also specially structured to permit the easy installation of the controller into any position in the industrial servo system.
The CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-EC-S5-S5-NN-NN-AW industrial controller is made up of two main sections; the power section and the control section. The control section is a separate unit plugged into the power section; the controller is often supplied with the control section fully integrated into the power section; however, if the control section is supplied as a separate unit, then a well-trained operator should be contacted to integrate the power section into the power section. The internal heat generated by this controller is regulated by natural convection; thus, it should be installed in a position that will expose it to cool air.
The maximum input voltage that can be used by this drive controller for optimum operation is about 30 volts; however, under normal operating conditions, the controller requires an input voltage of about 15 volts. This controller features a display unit through which industrial operators can monitor the operation of the device in real-time. The maximum permissible height for the installation of this device is 1000 meters above sea level; above this height, the controller starts to derate, and its efficiency begins to fall significantly.
