The drive controllers in this system are made up of two essential components - a power section and a control section with the CDB01 as one of the control section series.
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-MEM-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW is a double-axis control section model in the CDB01 series. Its features include a SERCOS interface for communication with other parts of the system and a standard control panel. The standard control panel can be used to set the transmission power and the field bus transmission rate of the SERCOS module. It also plays a role in accessing the error memory of the device and configuring the drive’s address. The two standard encoder interfaces on this control section allow it to be connected to encoders like the encoder system of MSK motors, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with a reference track. These encoders require a 5V supply voltage.
Firmware can be used with the CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-MEM-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW, but it must be ordered as a separate sub position. Its safety technology module is Safe Motion with a SIL2/cat. 3 PL d rating and allows several application-related safety functions, such as safe maximum speed, safe direction, safe door locking, safe diagnostic outputs, and more. The typical inrush current of the control section is 6A, and its maximum pulse width is 60ms. It can be used in applications such as handling and mounting systems, paper processing and printing machines, and machine tools.
