The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW control section offered by Bosch Rexroth is configurable and depicts two axes. The product is integrated with digital inputs and outputs according to IEC 61131 specifications. These digital inputs have a voltage rating between -3V and 30V. The probe inputs of this section work as rapid inputs. The section has a minimum SERCOS cycle time of 1000µs. This device also has two current, position and velocity control cycle times. The unit also comes with one Normally Open relay contact. It should not be removed from or plugged into the power section more than 20 times. The control section incorporates a typical inrush current of 6A.
The control section permits the connection of two conductors in a single terminal connecting point by using wires of identical cross-sections or TWIN ferrules. The spring terminals of the product have to be wired by means of wire ends without ferrules. These connections are to be done using stranded wires and not solid wires as far as possible. The device has four combined I/Os that can be configured as either digital outputs or digital inputs. The Safe Torque OFF functionality of the unit is achieved by a 9-pin D-Sub female connector at its X41 connecting point. The section comes along with backup support for one year.
This basic universal product requires a separate power supply for its isolated outputs as well as inputs and not the 24V supply of the related power section. The control panel and other connectors of the device must neither be fitted nor removed when the controller is in an ON state. Its electrical connection points are not to be touched when the power supply is ON. The unit is integrated with an EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / TTL encoder at the X4.2 connecting point.
