The Bosch CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN1-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW is a modular control section. It is designed for double-axis industrial and commercial applications. The device is one of the main components of drive controllers from the IndraDrive family. The other primary components include a power section and firmware. The power section provides 24 Volts DC supply to the control section. A control panel can also be used for controller configuration. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN1-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW is only compatible with a standard control panel. This particular control panel does not support hot swap and must be connected to the control section prior to system power on. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN1-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW has five slots for optional hardware module. All the five slots are occupied: four encoder modules and one safety module are installed on the unit. The safety module supports safe motion. This safety module allows numerous application-related safety functions including safe stop 2, safe direction, safe braking and holding system, safe parking axis and several others.
Two of the encoder modules installed on the CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN1-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW are encoder HSF / RSF modules and the remaining two are encoder EnDat 2.1 modules. The encoder HSF / RSF module is an interface resolver and HSF encoder evaluation module. It works with encoder systems that operate at 8 Volts DC or 18.2 AC peak to peak. The encoder EnDat 2.1 module works with encoders that operate at 5 Volt supply voltage. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN1-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW also features SERCOS master communication. This module allows real-time communication between control network devices over fiber optic cables. The supported data transfer rates at 2 / 4 Mbps. Firmware for the CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN1-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW is ordered separately. The installed firmware is indicated by the firmware type code on the firmware type plate. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
