The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN2-EN2-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW control section is plugged into the power section of a drive controller from Bosch Rexroth. The manufacturer’s control section supports a SERCOS interface for master communication. The union nut used to fasten the interface has a tightening torque of 0.6Nm. The module has switching frequencies of 2, 4, and 8kHz. It has an interface for a control panel and a serial interface. The module has two digital inputs. The dimensions of the unit are 103 x 322.6 x 49.5mm. The X33 and X34 connectors used for connecting the digital inputs support the use of stranded wires with 0.75 to 1.5mm²cross-section and 20-14AWG thickness for connection. The control section comes with a one-year Wake Industrial warranty.

The two digital inputs and one analog input of the product are connected parallel to each other. This parallel connection helps to lower the resistance present in the analog input. The section can be fitted with several optional modules on specific slots. The optional modules that are used for device functions support only a one-time configuration. The product features an HSF/RSF encoder on its X4.1 connector. It also has an EnDat 2.1 / 1Vpp / TLL encoder on its X4.2. X8.1 and X8.2 connectors. The firmware for the control section should be ordered separately.

The control section is equipped with safety technology I/O. The unit is fitted into the power section using a plugging mechanism. The SERCOS interface of the device features a distortion LED. The drive controller that has this interface can be connected to a high-level control unit using fiber optic cables that must be ordered separately. The product houses a standard control panel. The maximum permissible bus length of the unit depends on the bus rate. The encoder features a supply voltage rating of 5V +/-5% per cable.
