Product Description
The Bosch CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is a control section. It is specially designed for IndraDrive controllers that are deployed for motor control. Bosch develops three types of control sections: the CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW belongs to the category of basic universal control sections and is suited to double axis control applications. Four different types of master communication interfaces are available for CDB devices. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW includes integrated SERCOS III master communication. In addition a single RS-232 interface is also available. This can be used for communication over serial links with computers, terminals and other serial-enabled devices. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW has a modular design and can be matched to a variety of user requirements. Safety module installed on the unit supports safe torque off. This is a safety feature that prevents motor shaft operation from standstill.
Three plug-in modules are also installed: these include analog I/O extension and two encoder modules with EnDat 2.1 interface. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is configurable and only works with a standard control panel. The firmware for the unit has to be ordered separately. The power consumption of the control section consists of the power consumption of basic equipment and optional equipment. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW runs on 24 Volts DC supplies by the power section. This voltage is supplied via the terminal connection 24 Volts and 0 Volt at the power section. The power consumption of basic unit for the CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW control section is 9 Watts, the inrush current is 6 Amps and the peak pulse width is 60 milliseconds. Each of the installed encoder modules draw 6 Watts of power. The analog extension module draws 2 Watts of power. Hence the total consumption basic and installed components is 23 Watts. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
