To develop a scalable, world-class automation solution like the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, Bosch Rexroth integrates various ultra-efficient drive and motion control products. One of the series of products in this drive system is the CDB01 line of control sections. The control sections are components of drive controllers and are plugged into compatible power sections. They are used for controlling and monitoring electrical motors and can be ordered as separate components. The control sections can be used in handling and mounting systems and food processing and packaging machines.
The CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW is a configurable Bosch Rexroth control section in the CDB01 series. It is a double-axis device in the BASIC UNIVERSAL control section range with a PROFIBUS control communication interface. It also features two standard encoder interfaces that support the connection of encoder systems with a 12V supply voltage. The encoders that can be connected to these interfaces include the MSK IndraDyn S encoder system, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface interface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 interface. The encoder emulation interface of the control section emulates absolute value and incremental encoder signals for further evaluation.
To increase the number of analog channels, the CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-MEM-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW is equipped with an Analog I/O extension module. This module offers two differential analog input channels and two analog output channels, each with resolutions of 12 bits. The control section also features a Safe Motion module as its safety technology option. Safe Motion allows multiple application-related functions like safe homing procedure, safe braking, and holding system, safe communication, and safe parking axis.
