The CDB01 series of double-axis control sections are examples of such components. Together with their compatible power sections, they make up some of the drive controllers of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, a unique automation system with a wide range of applications. These include handling and mounting systems, food processing and packaging and food machines, and machine tools. These CDB01 control sections are in the BASIC UNIVERSAL range.
The CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW is a configurable Bosch Rexroth control section model that uses PROFIBUS as its control communication option. With PROFIBUS, the control system is able to cyclically exchange information like status signals, diagnostic messages, and so on. The device is also equipped with two standard encoder evaluation interfaces for connecting encoder systems like the IndraDyn S (MSK) motors and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface. They are encoders with a supply voltage of 12 V. Its two Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation interfaces also support encoder systems with a supply voltage of 8 V DC or 18.2 V AC peak-peak.
The starting lockout safety option of the CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW control section complies with the EN 60204-1 requirement and protects users from unintentional motions during its operation. The control section is a category C3 product according to IEC 61800‑3, indicating that it is suitable for use only in industrial areas. High-frequency radio interference suppression measures must be adopted when operating on public low-voltage mains that supply residential areas. The appropriate ambient temperature during its operation is between 0o C and 40o C. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
