Product Description
Featured with the impressive design considerations of a typical product from Rexroth Indramat, along with the offer for multi-integration of major industrial logic controls like the PLC, CNC controllers with SPS etc., the CFG-BTV30.2E-2D-1E-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN is an application-specific configuration of the basic BTV30 machine control terminal.
The BTV30 are a very dynamic series of machine control terminals that facilitated the ease of automation via a familiar PC based approach. These terminals are function-specific (which is indicated in the configuration type-code) and they allow the integration of up to 9 modules via their customization slots. The CFG-BTV30.2E-2D-1E-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN has a CNC function type—an MTS-P slave, and MTC-P with without export restrictions/export version—as indicated by its ‘E’ function code; it has up to 7 slots left un-installed with modules (indicated by the NN’s). For the rest, the 2D specification implies an attached PLC module—MTS-P01.2-D2 with 2 MB-RAM (Dual)—and the 1E means an MTC-P01.2-E1 CNC module with 8 axes and 1 MB-RAM is installed as well. These installations are available, sequentially, within specific module slots.
Each connected to either a PC104 or ISA bus type, which are the two available I/O buses on this terminal. Besides the configuration specifications, the memory and processing capabilities of this terminal is also a factor in its importance to automation. Featuring a 3GB HDD, a large enough hard drive for storing pertinent data about past and current process trends, this control terminal ensures reliability in data collection. It uses an intel Pentium processor, running within the 300-400MHz clock speed; all processing of basic interfacing commands and programming is done as quickly as possible. This ensures that every attached module/logic controller can be operated as required. This terminal also has a rugged construction to protect against potential damage from simple faults and environmental degradation.
