Product Description
This unit is a configured version of the general class of the Rexroth Indramat manufactured BTV20 PC-based machine operator panels. The BTV20 panels are user-friendly, via their keyboard oriented input options, and they have the following distinctive features: resistance to chemicals by virtue of protection with polyester foil with raised embossing; integrated machine keys are intuitively spaced to avoid accidental operations; inclusion of a master switch for ensuring safety operations; IP65 protection for the exposed front panel against water and dust, and this protection is guaranteed when the floppy disk cover is closed.
The configuration type code for this unit (CFG-BTV20.2C-E1-B1-2D-A2-1C-NN-NN-NN-NN) is a determinant of the number and types of modules and components that are installed for extending the versatility of a basic BTV20.2 panel. This unit has an MTC function with mandatory export certificate, and it incorporates 5 installed modules. The other 4 un-installed modules are indicated by the ‘NN’ designation in the type code. The MTS-P category of module integration is first considered due to its sequential precedence over others in this configuration code convention. Under MTS-P, the ‘E1’ configuration code implies an input/output module for integrated operating panel; this is installed via a PC 104 bus in the default second slot.
Along with this, an INTERBUS master module is also included; this is indicated via the code, ‘B1’. The ‘2D’ code indicates a final MTS-P integration, with a PLC module (MTS-P 01.2-D2) featuring a 2 MB-RAM (Master / Slave). For the MTC-P, there is the PC 104 bus installed Axis-processor module (with co-processor), and an ISA bus installed CNC module (MTC-P 01.2M, with 8 axes and 1 MB-RAM). Also, this unit is well defined for handling high processing requirements via its Pentium processors and is capable of an acceptable quality colourful display.
