Product Description
Bosch Rexroth spindle motor the ADF164B-B05TC0-AS06-A2N1 is operated as per EN 60721-3-3 in a longitudinal axis as per class 3M1, and a lateral axis as per class 3M6. The spindle motor features a wide speed range. It is integrated with a feedback module that signals the control drive to position the motor's rotor during operation. The ADF motor uses a holding brake that clamps its shaft at a standstill. The holding brakes are available in two modes: electrically-engaged or electrically released holding brakes. The electrically-engaged brake together with a control loop stops the motors shafts hence locking them when the main drive is at standstill. Electrically-released brakes are used in maintaining the position of the linear axes when the relevant signals are commanded. The holding brakes should be tested before operation if the spindle motor has not been in use for more than two years.
The ADF164B-B05TC0-AS06-A2N1 motor has protection in the following categories as per DIN 40050: Protection from solid objects measuring 50mm, 12 mm, 2.5 mm, and 1mm. Protection against dust: semi-protection and full protection. The protection class also offers protection from vertically dripping water when the spindle motor housing is tilted at 15° and 60° angle positions and against water spayed straight to the motor's body during cleaning. The protection class is identified by the abbreviation IP where the first digit elaborates the protection grade for contact and penetration by solid objects while the second digit explains the protection grade for water.
Heavier parts of the ADF164B-B05TC0-AS06-A2N1 motor should be lifted and transported with the use of appropriate tools and devices to avoid any damages to the spindle motor. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
