Product Description
The ADF160C-B05TB1-BS06-D2V1 is a broad speed range motor designed by Bosch Rexroth. It is integrated with motor feedback that signals the spindle drive to control and position the rotor during operation. The spindle motor design is suited for flange mounting and has a shaft extension that allows for the attachment of additional encoders on one side of the motor. The mounting flange is made in such a way that it permits the mounting of the ADF motor in either a vertical, horizontal, or upside-down position. Liquids should not be allowed to accumulate for long periods at the shafts of the spindle motor in any mounting position. The electrical connections used by the ADF motor are standardized and allowances for the power connection of the motor’s NTC thermostat, holding brake connections, and the motor feedback connection.
The spindle motor feedback connection is a nine-pin socket located on the same side as the power terminal. The power terminals of the ADF160C-B05TB1-BS06-D2V1 can be connected either through a power connector or a terminal box. The power connections allow for a 90° increment or adjustment. Both positions are determined during ordering and cannot be changed after purchase or delivery. The ADF motor has a built in thermostat in the motor windings for monitoring the temperatures hence protecting it against overheating.
The ADF160C-B05TB1-BS06-D2V1 is mounted by burrowing it on the wall through the drill holes allowance provided. The motor's output shafts have friction-free locking features that interlocks with the hub during mounting, making the operation fast and easy. The spindle motor should be operated as per IEC 721-3-3, 1987 edition, or EN 60721-3-3 6/1994 edition regulations and in an ambient temperature of 0° to 45° C. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
