Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures the ADF160C-B05TB1-BS06-D2N1, a spindle motor that utilizes the induction principle, a maintenance-free design. The motor feedback is liquid-cooled therefore; it can be mounted at any elevation height with an ambient temperature ranging from 0° to 45° C. The spindle motor signals and measures the position of the rotor in machine operations like textile and plastics injection, molding machines, and printing machines. The motor functions with a resolution of 1/ 2 000 000th revolutions and have the following features: broad field weakening range and a wide speed range. The ADF motor is protected by its housing as per DIN 40050 which offers the following: protection against moving or live parts of the motor (contact guard), penetration by solid objects, or the trickling in of water.
The spindle motor comes with either an electrically-engaged release brake or an electrically-engaged brake that is used to hold the linear axes in position when the main control drive is not in operation. The ADF160C-B05TB1-BS06-D2N1 is not suited for helical toothed output pinions and should be used with very low axial loads. It is equipped with long-lasting lubricated deep groove balls and cylindrical roller bearings that give it a mechanical service life of bearings that equates to 20,000 working hours with radial loads. The allowed radial force at the motors shafts depends on the load-bearing and the average speed of the spindle motor.
The ADF160C-B05TB1-BS06-D2N1 has an estimated motor force equaling to 30 N that is also dependent on the mounting position. The spindle motor is effectively balanced as per DIN ISO 2373 to meet different mechanical and operation demands. Storage of the spindle motor should be in a dust-free environment with a surrounding temperature of -25° to +85°. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
